One bright day in Australia, as we were on a rather lengthy bus trip, we stopped at a rest stop for a restroom break and a chance to buy snacks. As we exited the bus, our driver noticed that there was something leaking from the bus. While a minor problem, it did take some time to be fixed. Our guide, Paul, happened to have a Frisbee on hand and soon a few of the students and even a couple of adults were tossing it around, passing time. After a few minutes, Mike tossed the disc to Andy who aimed to return it across the concrete parking lot to Austin. The throw sailed quite a bit high and Austin turned and broke into a sprint, eyes up to the Frisbee the entire time. As he closed in on the Frisbee, he glanced down only long enough to see a curb with grass beyond. At the last instant, Austin dove headfirst for the Frisbee and landed face first in a drainage ditch. The fall covered him head to toe in mud and grass and his suitcase had to be taken from the cargo hold of the bus before the delegation could return to its journey.
