Now to the dingo's. When we stayed on Frasier Island, they had dingo's, which are a cross between a wolf and a dog; the special thing about this dingo's was that they were a pure breed because they inhabited an island, which isn't to easy to get off of. Anyway, we tour the island and the tour guide is telling us that we should feed them and even not to approach them. He would recount a time when a man was attacked, the dingo jumped up and bit his back side because the dingo was attracted to leather. The guide also said, not to leave belongings laying around, especially materials made our of leather, for the dingo's would surly take it. So my friend and I are walking on the beach, just taking in everything and all of the sudden I spotted what we soon found out was a dingo. Now, I'm not going to tell you a story of how I fought off the dingo and saved my friends life, actually, I was extremely scared. We were about 300 meters away from our resort and there was no one else around. We quickly turned around and gave ourselves three options. One, run into the ocean, which was freezing cold. Two, run from the dingo, which would probably chase after us (don't worry, I'm faster than my friend). Three, walk at a brisk pace back to the lodge. Well, as we surveyed our options, we realized that both of us had leather sandals and wallets, NOT GOOD. It was a very long walk back and we almost started out in a mad sprint at one point. I made it back ok, but as for my friend, anytime he sees a dog, be becomes very frightened.
